Sharp, fast bill capture
Auto-landscape camera with a generous framing window. Optimized for the small text on a US bill — serial, series year, denomination — and reads them in under a second.
An iOS app for paper-money geeks
Snap a photo of any US bill — single, five, ten, twenty, anything. Follow the Money reads the serial number and logs it with your location. The next time someone else photographs that same bill, you'll see exactly where it went, who held it, and how long it took to get there.
What it does
Auto-landscape camera with a generous framing window. Optimized for the small text on a US bill — serial, series year, denomination — and reads them in under a second.
Every sighting of every bill — yours and other users' — plotted on a single map. Dashed flight paths with directional chevrons show exactly where each bill is moving.
Automatic flagging for vintage notes (pre-1928), large-size paper, star notes, fancy serials, ladders, radars, repeaters, and other collectible patterns.
Follow other users, browse their public bills, and DM the person who last had your bill. A real community of people who pay attention to what they're spending.
Want a specific serial? Add it to your chase list and get notified the second anyone in the world logs it.
Order your own washable, water-soluble rubber stamp featuring your username and the app URL. Stamp bills you spend so the next person can find their way back.
How it works
Open the app, hold a bill in the frame, tap the shutter. Camera goes landscape automatically — that's where the OCR works best.
The app reads the serial number, denomination, and series year. You confirm the address, add an optional note, and save.
When anyone else photographs that same bill, you both get notified. Open the journey map to see the route across the country.
