When you write in, including the following helps me help you faster:
- Which app you're using (Follow the Money, or Follow the Money: The Game)
- What iPhone you're using (e.g., iPhone 15 Pro)
- What version of iOS you're on (Settings → General → About → Software Version)
- The app version you're running (in the bill tracker, the About tab; in the Game, the Profile screen)
- A clear description of what you were doing and what went wrong
- A screenshot if anything looked weird
Common questions
For the bill tracker, most "is this normal?" questions are answered in the FAQ tab inside the app (tap the question-mark icon at the bottom of the screen). For the Game, see the How to play guide in the Profile screen. If yours isn't covered there, drop me an email.
Reporting abuse or objectionable content
Both apps let players and users post content that others can see — chat messages and usernames in the Game, and messages and profiles in the bill tracker. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior.
Inside the app you can report any message or user and block any user so you no longer see their content. Reports are sent to me for review and I act on them — typically within 24 hours — by removing content and, where warranted, restricting or removing the offending account. You can also report abuse directly by emailing followthemoney.support@gmail.com; please include a screenshot and the username involved.

Feature requests
I'd genuinely love to hear what you wish the app did. Email me with the subject line "Feature request" and I'll add it to my list.
Reporting a bug
For bugs, please include the steps to reproduce so I can recreate it on my end. If you can include a screen recording (Settings → Control Center → Screen Recording on iOS), even better.
Refunds
Follow the Money is free, so there's nothing to refund. If you have a complaint about something Apple charged you for, that goes through the Apple App Store refund process.
